I'm in the last week of my internship at Nickelodeon. It's really been an incredible experience. I'm so, so lucky that I was able to be a part of it. I've learned so much and have met many amazing people who I will be friends with for a very long time, and hope the best for. Anyway, I'm really sad that it's ending, but I have made some memories that I will never forget, and I have a lot more direction in my career now.
Something that I've run into this semester is a realization that I have some really bad anxiety when it comes to showing my work to people. Another realization I've had is that I will never, ever improve if I don't get over that! So I'm going to stop waiting for myself to be "good" and start using this blog.
I want to set a goal for myself today: Post a drawing here every day! Or at least, draw something every day and post it later. The only requirement for these drawings is that I am happy with them. As time goes on, I'll start making theme days for myself, like maybe comic days or prop days or I don't really know yet. The point is just to push myself. I'd also like to prioritize tablet drawings over pencil ones because I really need practice with a tablet!!
